My CV
I can lead your digital product design project from end–to–end. I’ll discover and solve problems and deliver innovative and thoughtful solutions with polished and creative visual design.
Or I can join your team, quickly get up to speed, fit in with your culture and support with UX and UI design expertise.
I work with my clients to gain a deep understanding of their goals, the problem we’re solving and the needs of the people we’re designing for. I listen to everyone and use a human-centred approach to create solutions that achieve positive outcomes for all.
Through my work, I champion the values of ethical, inclusive, accessible and sustainable digital design. Whenever possible, I choose to work with ventures that make a positive difference.
Innocent Drinks, Kettle Chips, Jordans Cereals, TOG Knives, Hitachi, MOMA, Pets at Home, King Edward VII's Hospital, The Wedding Shop, Funkin Cocktails, Norwich City Football Club, Caffè Nero.
Services
I use a human-centred approach to create effective solutions. I begin by using research to get a deep understanding of your objectives and the needs of the people we’re designing for. Research activities might involve conducting and analysing stakeholder and user interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis.
Research
By documenting the information architecture with site maps and user flows I ensure that information is structured, organised and clearly labelled, allowing users to complete tasks efficiently. Task flows map the user’s path and identify the information and actions required at each step.
IA & user flows
I create wireframes to plan and outline the functionality, layout and information each page will contain . Wireframes are low-fidelity designs that are quick to iterate on as we review, test and refine our ideas.
Wireframes
I build interactive prototypes in Figma or Invision that can be used for initial user tests. Prototypes can be created with either wireframes or visual designs. User testing is a vital step and it will always reveal issues and insights that could be far more costly and time-consuming to address at a later stage.
Prototyping & testing
I design interfaces that are intuitive, engaging and enjoyable to use, either working within your guidelines or exploring new design directions to enhance and evolve your existing brand. I create visual consistency and help development run smoothly with flexible component-based templates, guides and documentation.
UI/visual design
By assessing the user experience of your digital product or platform using behaviour analytics tools and usability heuristic evaluation, I can identify potential problems and make recommendations for improvements. With ongoing testing and iterating, we can optimise performance and improve conversion rates.

I create and evolve branding for digital, but you wouldn’t want me to design a logo or anything for print—and I know what I need to about coding, but I don’t code.

More about me
I run an Instagram account called @kind_digital and through that I explore how digital can be more ethical, inclusive and sustainable. It gives me a good sense of purpose and community. I also enjoy psychology and behavioural science. I studied psychology before I discovered digital and over the years that interest has become more and more relevant to my career.
Outside of work, I'm a member of an anti-racism working group at my sons' school. Fitness is a big part of my life, my husband is a personal trainer, so no excuses here. I run, lift weights and practice yoga regularly. When the weather is warm, we head to the beautiful Norfolk coast for sea air, picnics and bodyboarding.
